Quick reminder:

There have been some complaints regarding parking. The cleared spaces on the side of crossing roads are passing places intended to allow two vehicles to cross each other and not parking spaces.

Respect these guidelines, so you will always be well received by the locals

From the east, follow the La Chaux-de-Fonds Neuchâtel highway, exit at La Sagne – Ponts de Martels.
From the west (from Yverdon), exit towards Areuse, Bôle, Boudry-Est, then head towards Rochefort, Ponts-de-Martels, and La Sagne.
The spot is located next to the parking area, you don't even need snowshoes to access it!

Southwest, Northeast (classic Jura winds).
The Southwest wind comes in well and is very consistent. A venturi effect increases towards La Corbatière.
During the Bise (northeast wind), the wind is weaker than elsewhere. La Corbatière doesn't work well, as the wind doesn't immediately descend into the valley; it's better to go a bit lower towards Pont-de-Martel.

Stakes are scattered throughout the valley, be careful to avoid them especially with your kite and make sure the wires are removed before crossing fences. There are train or electric lines bordering the spot in places, be careful. The spot is visible from the road, but don't park next to it, even if it's tempting. Park either at the Corbatière ski lift departure or at the La Sagne football field. A cross-country ski trail runs along the valley; avoid crossing through it as this damages the trail and creates a bad image for our sport.
