AirOne is a kitesurfing, wingfoiling, snowkiting and traction kiting school with its own gear shop. It was founded by Olivier Caillet, Swiss kitesurfing champion in 2002, who opened the first kite school in Estavayer-le-Lac, and it has been running kite trips for more than 25 years. Since April 2025 the business has been run by AirOne Sàrl, registered in Le Mont-sur-Lausanne (Rue du Champ-du-Bois 20), whose three managing partners are long-standing instructors of the school.
In Switzerland, lessons mostly take place around Neuchâtel: wingfoiling at Nid-du-Crô, where the school has a safety boat, intermediate kitesurfing at Saint-Blaise (waterstart and kite control required), and traction kiting with an introduction to mountainboarding near Neuchâtel; private kitesurfing lessons can also be arranged on Lake Geneva depending on conditions. Beginner kitesurfers learn at Beauduc, in the Camargue, during group lesson weekends. In winter, snowkiting is taught mainly at weekends around Saint-Cergue and the Lac des Rousses, on the Simplon Pass or at Rathvel. Private and semi-private lessons can be booked on any day depending on the wind; in group lessons, students work in pairs, two per kite, and all equipment is provided, including helmet and harness.
AirOne also runs guided trips: Rhodes (kite and wing), a kite and wing cruise on the Red Sea, El Gouna (wing) and weekends at Beauduc. The web shop, with stock held in Switzerland and delivery to Switzerland and Liechtenstein, mainly sells Duotone gear (kites, bars, boards, wings and foils), Armstrong foils and boards, ION, Mystic and Sooruz accessories and wetsuits, Ride Engine spreader bars, and a selection of used equipment.
Prices shown on the website in September 2026, in Swiss francs. Lesson prices are the same for kitesurfing, wingfoiling, snowkiting and traction kiting; all equipment is provided (skis or snowboard not included for snowkiting).
Lessons all year round depending on the season: on the water in the warmer months, snowkiting in winter as soon as there is enough snow. Trips from May to November, with dates published for 2026 and 2027.
Private and semi-private lessons are scheduled on any day of the week, depending on availability and wind. Group snowkite lessons and Beauduc weekends go ahead from 4 participants.
No shop opening hours are published: the shop operates online. Book through the website form or by email at info@airone.ch; a WhatsApp group for each discipline announces sessions.
