About
Rip Curl Rabat Oudayas Beach is the brand's only seafront shop between Casablanca and Rabat. It occupies one of the units in the refurbished row along the Rabat corniche, at the foot of the Oudayas kasbah, in the middle of the beach's surf clubs and schools. It is one of eight company-owned stores run by Surfer, the importer and distributor of Rip Curl in Morocco.
The range is the brand's own: full wetsuits and shorties, UV rash vests, booties, hoods, neoprene jackets and impact vests, swimwear and boardshorts, men's, women's and children's clothing, bags, watches, sunglasses and sun creams. The hardware section covers surfboards and their accessories — softboards, fins, leashes, grips, wax, board bags, repair kits, earplugs — plus bodyboarding, skateboarding, stand up paddle and kayaking.
The chain also carries a wingfoil section, still unusual in Morocco, stocked with its in-house line: Alizé wings, complete Aquilon foils, Aria boards and helmets. That section belongs to the national catalogue shared by all eight stores, so call ahead to check what is actually on the shelves here. The shop sits alongside Rabat Beach Culture, Aloha Surf, the Club Nautique de la Plage de Rabat and a unit of the Royal Moroccan Surfing Federation: it is the beach's repair and spares stop.
