Les Dunes de Dakhla

Les Dunes de Dakhla is a bungalow and tented camp belonging to the Dakhla Hospitality Group, alongside Dakhla Attitude, Dakhla PK25, Lagon Energy, West Point Dakhla and La Crique — and the only one of the six to name the group on its own site. It sits away from the lagoon, at the edge of the desert, around a pool and a covered dining room. Rates include full board and airport transfers.

There is no watersports centre on site, and no lessons are taught at the hotel. Kitesurfing, wingfoiling and surfing are reached through the group's DRIFTER service: a free shuttle takes guests to whichever of the group's sports centres suits the day's wind, on a 9:00-17:00 or 9:00-13:00 run, with lunch taken at the host hotel on a full day. Lessons there are given by the group's instructors, described by the hotel as « all IKO certified », and gear is hired on site, with a surcharge for the premium ranges. For surfing, DRIFTER runs to the group's West Point hotel and the right-hander that breaks in front of it, and also arranges transfers to Arich or Lassarga.

The group also runs guided downwinders from one hotel to another across the lagoon, with a rescue boat alongside, as far as the White Dune, for intermediate and advanced riders only. On land, the hotel gives access to the padel courts at Dakhla Attitude, transport included, and arranges quad biking, stargazing and desert excursions.

Open all year: the published rate calendar covers all twelve months. High season from 1 October to 5 November, 20 December to 8 January, 1 April to 31 May and 1 July to 31 August; low season the rest of the year.
