Lagon Energy is a 31-bungalow eco-lodge at kilometre point 27 on the El Argoub road, on the western shore of the Dakhla lagoon, about thirty minutes from the airport. It belongs to the Dakhla Hospitality Group. Two lodge categories: the Pacha Lodge (25 m², up to three people) and the Young Blood Lodge (18 m², up to two), all built of wood, facing the water, each with a private terrace and bathroom. The resort claims more than 5,000 trees and shrubs planted, a kitchen garden and a recycled-water system, for a sleeping capacity of 62.
Its watersports base is one of the four sites of Dakhla's single Duotone Pro Center; it is the former ION CLUB station at PK 27. It opens onto one of the calmest parts of the lagoon — shallow flat water, steady 15 to 25 knots — which makes it a learning and freeride spot rather than a performance one. The published fleet: Duotone kites from 3 to 17 m, Duotone twintips and surfboards, Duotone wings, Fanatic wing foil boards and SUPs, ION accessories, in the 2025 range. Instructors are IKO and IWO certified, French and English speaking, and a safety boat covers the sessions. The kite spot is less than a minute's walk from the lodges.
The centre runs guided downwinders to the Speed Spot, Dragon Island, the White Dune and the Secret Spot — independent riders only, minimum three people, return by 4x4 with an optional stop at the Asmaa hot springs — along with a Kids Camp from age 8 and 30 kg, and the Drifter service that takes guests each day to whichever spot best suits the wind. Also on site: storage for personal gear, a washing and drying area, a Duotone / ION / Fanatic shop, changing rooms, lockers, showers, a live webcam facing the lagoon, a daily yoga class, a fitness room, a spa and a farm-to-fork restaurant.
