Auberge des Nomades du Sahara sits at the northern end of the Dakhla lagoon, at kilometre marker PK 27, some 27 km from the town centre. The camp lines up bungalows for one to four guests, a restaurant, a bar and terraces facing the dunes. Return airport transfers are included for stays of more than four nights, and rates are quoted full board.
Its watersports centre stands at the foot of the lagoon, right in front of the main spot, a shallow flat-water area. The school teaches kitesurfing, kitefoiling and wingfoiling, either one-to-one or semi-private (one instructor for two students, each with their own gear), with IKO-qualified instructors and rescue-boat cover included on the spot. Private lessons are compulsory for children under 15.
Gear comes from a partnership with F-One, is replaced every year and can be hired by the day or by the week: full kite set, kite only, twin-tip or foil board, with storage at the centre. The guesthouse also runs downwinders, trips to the White Dune and Pointe de l'Or, fishing excursions and desert bivouacs. It publishes no telephone number and asks to be contacted by email only.
