Fennekite is a mobile kitesurfing school in Dakhla, run by two brothers, Hicham and Mehdi Fennioui, and registered in the Moulay Rachid district. It has no fixed base: depending on the wind, the tide and the group's level, lessons are held at the far end of the lagoon, at Speed Spot, at the White Dune or at Secret Spot, and students are picked up from their hotel.
Teaching follows the IKO method and the instructors are IKO-certified, Hicham at level 3. Lessons come as group courses (four students maximum, one kite for two), semi-private (two students, one kite each) and private, in French, English, Spanish and Arabic. Since 2025 the school also teaches wingfoiling, and offers equipment rental, downwind runs and 3, 5 or 7-day accommodation-plus-lessons packages. The school's own kites are mainly Ventum and Duotone, and its twin-tips mostly Cabrinha.
Fennekite also runs its own repair workshop in Dakhla, Fennekite Repair, promoted as a business in its own right with a dedicated page and its own Facebook page. The workshop takes every brand and every kind of damage: tears in spinnaker cloth or dacron, panels split along their whole length, leading edges, battens, wing canopies and bars. It also traces leaks, fits a complete new leading edge and adds reinforcement patches on areas worn by chafing. Canopies are stitched as discreetly as possible — stitches matching the original ones, fabric rebuilt edge to edge, original colours and cloth quality respected — and a kite must be handed in dry and clean, free of sand. The service is open to everyone, the school's own students and passing kiters alike, with a price list published in euros; the site makes no claim of repair work subcontracted for other schools or camps on the lagoon.

Prices recorded on 6 October 2026 on fennekite.com. Lessons are advertised as « Tarifs 2026 »; the repair price list carries no date. The site does not say which kites the two leading-edge labour items apply to: only the second is labelled « ailes standards » (standard kites).
No opening hours are published: sessions are set by the wind and the tides, with hotel pick-up. A session usually lasts 2 to 3 hours, and double sessions are possible.
Season: the wind season runs from March to mid-October, with stronger conditions in July and August. From November to February it is the low season: the wind can blow every day, but less regularly and less predictably. Water between 18 and 21 °C on average, barely cooler in the low season.
