Picair école de glisse

Picair is a mobile watersports school around Royan and the Côte Sauvage, founded by Maxime Piquer, the sole instructor, whose name inspired the school's, together with "pic" and "air". Booking is online and the website received new visuals in January and April 2025.

The school offers surf lessons from beginner to intermediate level, kitesurf lessons from handling the kite to board mastery and first jumps, and wingfoil lessons for all levels, from controlling the wing to the first sensations of flight. Kitesurf equipment is new; the school highlights French surf brands such as Sooruz and Zeus, wetsuits recycled from oyster shells, boards made from bio-based materials and an eco-friendly antibacterial product for wetsuit care.

Surf sessions take place mainly on the Côte Sauvage at La Tremblade, and kitesurf and wing sessions mostly in the Bonne Anse bay, near La Palmyre beach, with the location changing according to weather, swell, tides and students' level. The school is based at ligne 38 in La Tremblade.
