Max Respect Surf School Saint-Girons

The MAX RESPECT surf school has welcomed students at Saint-Girons Plage since 1997, in a small family-friendly village set on the dune between ocean and forest. The main premises are on the main street, 50 metres from the beach entrance. The school is run by its founder and manager, Laurent, with a team of qualified instructors (BPJEPS, BEES 1, DEJEPS). It is FFS and Qualité Tourisme labelled.

2-hour discovery lessons, 3-session mini-courses and 5-session weekly courses, from beginner to improver level, as well as private lessons and video coaching. Groups are limited to 8 people per instructor (6 for kids, from age 6), formed by level, age or affinity. The school also teaches bodysurf and other disciplines (bodyboard, longboard).

Equipment is supplied for lessons and courses and available for rental: soft boards of all sizes for beginners, higher-performance boards for improvers, full wetsuits and shorties, bodyboards, fins and skimboards. Max Respect also runs a school at Contis.
