School Presentation
Surf and bodyboard school based since 2002 at Cap de l'Homy beach in Lit-et-Mixe (Landes), founded and run by Karine and Yoann Poilane. It describes itself as a small family-run business, with groups limited to 8 students.
Surf lessons for teens and adults, children aged 8 to 12, families, private lessons and group or seminar sessions, all levels. Board and wetsuit are provided, and board and wetsuit rental is available at the school's reception. Instructors hold the French state sports educator diploma in surfing and the BNSSA lifeguard certificate.
Lessons are given in French, English and German. Free parking in the nearby forest and free shuttle buses from Lit-et-Mixe and the main campsites. The school also offers a talk on the Landes ocean and a surf manual.
