Soulmate Surf School is a surf school in Kovalam on the Chennai coast (Tamil Nadu). It is run by Pazhani Vijiyan, a fisherman's son from the village who, according to the website, was named best instructor in 2015 and won the surf championship in 2017, and now teaches at his own school.
Lessons run from beginner to advanced: a two-hour introduction, one-hour classes and 5 or 10-day courses, with or without stand up paddle, kayak and bodyboard. You can also take a stand up paddle or kayak lesson, rent a board, buy a membership and shop for gear in the surf shop. Photos of the session are shared by WhatsApp.
