Surfschule Rettin is a windsurfing and stand up paddling school based at the "An der Düne" campsite, Strandweg 66, in Rettin on the coast of Neustadt in Holstein (Bay of Lübeck). Sven and Sandra Neils have been part of the team since 2001 and 2006.
For windsurfing the school offers a 2-hour taster (from age 8), a 10-hour beginner course (from age 12) with the option of the VDWS licence, a weekend course, a children's course, an advanced course, a refresher course and private lessons. Board, sail and wetsuit are included. Rental boards come with school or performance rigs; the school also runs test days with leading brands and credits the rental price against equipment bought on site.
Stand up paddling is taught in a 1.5-hour beginner course (from age 8), and boards are available for rent, suited to flat water or the small Baltic waves. The 2026 season started on 2 May, with weekend opening in the early season.
