Free Surf Maroc

Free Surf Maroc is a surf camp at kilometre 14 of the Essaouira road, in Hay Tamraght, in the municipality of Aourir north of Agadir. The camp advertises more than fifteen years of activity and welcomes guests all year round, in a riad that serves at once as accommodation, school base and the camp's living space.

The school works across the spots of the Agadir and Taghazout area — beach breaks, points and reefs, lefts and rights — picking the site each day according to the forecast and the group's level ; fallback spots are planned for heavy swell days. Lessons are run in small groups and can go up to two two-hour sessions a day. One instructor is dedicated to each family in the corresponding package.

The house offers shared rooms, single rooms and apartments, with an ocean-facing terrace, a garden, a riad lounge (library and television), a coworking space (desks, supplies, laser printer) and secure lockers. Reception is open from 7.30 am to 9 pm, transfers from Agadir airport or bus station run around the clock, wifi is on fibre, laundry is free and skateboards (longboard, cruiser, carver) are freely available. Around surfing, the camp arranges souk visits, horse or camel rides, yoga, sand surfing, hammam and massage, and Paradise Valley.
