Pro Surf Morocco

Pro Surf Morocco is a Berber surf camp in Hay Essahel, in the village of Tamraght, some fifteen kilometres north of Agadir and a 45-minute drive from Agadir Al Massira airport. The traditional house is both the accommodation and the school's base : the large terrace overlooking Tamraght hosts the yoga sessions and the camp's evenings.

The camp is run by Brahim Habib Allah, a former Rip Curl team rider, runner-up in the Morocco South championship and later number one in the national ranking, and second at the 2014 Rip Curl West Africa Tour in Dakar. He is a surf instructor accredited by the Moroccan surfing federation and teaches alongside Anouar and Sadik, while Karima runs the kitchen. The school advertises groups of six people at most and instructors who are all ISA certified, taking students to the spots along the coast according to the conditions of the day.

The weekly package covers transfers from Agadir airport or bus station, 7 nights, 7 breakfasts, lunches on the beach, 5 Moroccan dinners, 6 days of equipment, 6 days of coaching with a 2-hour morning lesson, daily transport to the spots, room cleaning, one video-analysis evening and one theory evening. 3/2 wetsuits are provided (water at 17-20 °C). Pro Surf Morocco also runs a second base in Imsouane, trading as Prosurf School Imsouane, with the same team.

Open all year round, reachable 24/7 according to the website. Surf lessons in the morning (2 hours), free surf in the afternoon.

The site describes the wave season as follows : September to May for every level, May to August with gentler conditions suited to beginners and intermediates.
