Pro Kite Morocco

Pro Kite Morocco is a kitesurfing and surfing school based in the heart of Dakhla, in the Ouad Chiafe district. It was founded in June 2016 by Youssef, who was born and raised in Dakhla and still does the coaching himself: an IKO-certified instructor, twice Moroccan freestyle champion in 2014 and 2015, and a top-sixteen finisher at a world freestyle championship. The school makes a point of being entirely locally run and of keeping groups small.

Kitesurfing lessons take place on the flat water of the lagoon and cater to every level, from a first session to experienced riders. Surf sessions are held on the Atlantic side, on uncrowded breaks picked each day according to conditions and guided by a local. The school advertises 4×4 transfers from your accommodation, gear and safety equipment included, three languages spoken, card payment and a photo report of your sessions.

It also sells week-long packages bundling accommodation in town or in a lodge, daily lessons, transport to the lagoon and a traditional lunch at the spot, and arranges local experiences on request: markets and neighbourhood life, quiet corners of the lagoon, desert, wild beaches and oases, and guided photo outings. Its base is a street-front shop whose sign also advertises gear rental, a surf shop and wingfoil and surfskate lessons, none of which the website details.

The school publishes no opening hours.

No season is announced either: the website gives neither an opening period nor an annual closure.
