Salty Joy is a mobile kitesurf, wingfoil and surf school registered in town, on boulevard Ahmed Ben Chekroun in Dakhla. It was founded by Younes Beghdadi, an IKO level 3 instructor born in the region, and Léa Galinier. Rather than running a fixed base, the school collects its students from their hotel every morning and picks the day's water according to wind, tide and swell: the lagoon for flat water, the ocean spots of Oum Labouir and Lassarga for waves.
A typical day runs as two two-hour sessions either side of a lunch break — a picnic on the spot, a meal at the hotel or in a restaurant — and ends with a debrief where progress is reviewed and the next day planned. The school provides all the riding gear: wetsuit, harness, boots, vest and a helmet fitted with a radio. Students bring only their beach kit and their third-party liability insurance, which is compulsory for kitesurfing and wingfoiling. Kite and wing lessons are open from the age of twelve, and below that at the instructor's discretion.
Salty Joy also rents Eleveight gear (kites from 5 to 14 m², wingfoil boards and foils) and Prolimit, with supervised riding: a briefing before the session, remote watch during it and a debrief afterwards. Rental requires an independent level — riding upwind and linking transitions on a kite, riding under control on both tacks on a wing. Students who bring their own equipment get 10% off their lessons.

The school describes rideable conditions all year round in Dakhla and publishes no closing dates.
No opening hours are posted. Confirmation or cancellation of the next day's lesson is sent between 6 pm and 9 pm the evening before, once the forecast is known; students are asked to arrive 15 to 20 minutes early. A lesson can be moved up to 48 hours before the booked date. The balance is settled at the end of the stay, by card or in cash, in dirhams or euros.
