School Presentation
Lagos Kite Club presents itself as the oldest school in Lagos: since 2002 it has taught kitesurfing and wingfoiling on the Algarve coast. Its team, including Simone, Nacho, Filipe and João, teaches in several languages (English, Spanish, Italian, French and German).
The school offers kitesurf lessons (group, half-private and private), private wingfoil lessons and surf lessons for beginners, intermediate and advanced riders. It also rents kitesurf, wingfoil and surf equipment, with supervision, a rescue boat and a spot introduction.
It states it is certified by the International Wingfoil Organization (IWO, no. 56170), is an official kitesurfing centre (no. 110262) and is recognised by the Portuguese Sailing Federation (FPV). Gear named on the website: Airush, Sooruz, North and Mystic.
Camps (kitesurf, wingfoil, surf) with accommodation in a guest house a few metres from the beach are offered, as well as, according to the site, horse riding.
