Algarve Kitesurf School is a kitesurf and wingfoil school in Lagos that presents itself as one of the longest-running in the region (since 2004). The website shows tourism licence number 13957/AL and a 2025-2026 season with recent equipment.
Lessons take place in a warm, flat and shallow lagoon between Alvor and Lagos, among the dunes. Formats: group lessons (4 students, 2 kites), semi-private (2 students, the most popular) and private, with radio helmets for communication and video analysis on request. Full courses follow the 4 IKO levels, with an IKO / VDWS certificate included, and an intensive refresher course is available.
The school rents kitesurf gear (kites, twin-tips, surfboards or foils) so you do not need to travel with your own, and runs a shop; the equipment announced for 2025 is Airush and North.
