Overview

Val-Comeau is a kitesurfing spot located on the north-east coast of New Brunswick, in the Gulf of St. Lawrence. This small Acadian village offers a sandy beach with direct access to the gulf waters, in a preserved natural setting. The spot benefits from prevailing south-west and west winds, with also good conditions in north-east winds. The body of water is coastal with moderate tidal influence. The water warms up pleasantly in summer. Val-Comeau Provincial Park offers camping facilities nearby. The sailing season runs from June to September. This spot is suitable for intermediate riders. The Acadian coast of north-east New Brunswick is known for its reliable wind conditions and warm hospitality.
