White Cloud Watersports is a kiteboarding and wingfoiling shop in Houghton Bay, on Wellington's south coast near Lyall Bay. It is run by a team of local riders, including owner Brian Walters, who is also the Eleveight distributor for New Zealand.
The showroom stocks new and used gear: kites, bars, boards, foils, wings, harnesses, wetsuits and protection. The shop takes trade-ins and runs demo days. Featured brands include Eleveight, Armstrong and Brunotti.
It also offers kite equipment rental (half day, full day or monthly) and a learn-to-wingfoil programme at Worser Bay, with one-hour lessons or a five-session course, plus kite lessons and intermediate coaching.
