About
KiteCPH is a water sports shop at Amager Strand, in the middle of Copenhagen. Despite its name it also sells windsurf and paddle gear. It presents itself as the Danish importer of Ozone and Flysurfer and carries many other brands (North, Cabrinha, Naish, Slingshot, Airush, Gaastra, Prolimit, Neilpryde, ION, Dakine, Brunotti, Tabou, Fanatic); the store moved into a new building in 2017, combined with the neighbouring kayak shop.
It includes a repair workshop (kite canopies, masts, boards), a café overlooking the water, kitesurf, windsurf and paddle rental, and equipment storage. KiteCPH also runs a Dansk Sejlunion-certified kitesurf, paddle and windsurf school, with a wind guarantee on kite lessons; no prior experience is required. Paddle, yoga and kayak clubs run on subscription.

Opening Hours
1 October to 31 March: Monday to Friday 12 pm to 6 pm, Saturday and Sunday 10 am to 4 pm. April: Monday to Friday 12 pm to 6 pm, weekends and public holidays 10 am to 4 pm. 1 May to 30 September: Monday to Friday 12 pm to 7 pm, weekends and public holidays 10 am to 5 pm.

Beginner kitesurf course: 3,499 DKK (year not specified). Rental, prices in DKK (year not specified): complete beginner windsurf set 195 DKK per hour, 400 DKK for 3 hours, 600 DKK per day; kite and board 850 DKK per day; paddle board 195 DKK per hour, 580 DKK per day; 5/3 wetsuit 150 DKK per day.
