Sydhavnens Windsurfer Club (SWC)

Sydhavnens Windsurfer Club (SWC) is a windsurfing club in Valby Park (Valby Parken), south of Valby Syd beach in Copenhagen. It is a club, not a school: it brings windsurfers together around a shared launch site.

Members can borrow beginner equipment, two paddle boards, a tandem windsurf board and a foil for advanced riders, and can store their own gear in the club's containers. Beginners are pointed to a course at partner Copenhagen Surf School, at Amager Strandpark, or to a member willing to show them how to handle the equipment.

The windsurf season runs from 1 April to 31 October. In winter a bird protection period bans sailing from the club's spot; the club then refers members to the area off Hvidovre Harbour.
