Copenhagen Surf School

Copenhagen Surf School is a windsurfing school that has operated since 2007 at Amager Strandpark, on the pier ("Molen") of Amager beach, a few minutes from central Copenhagen. Its website says it has trained more than 6,000 new windsurfers in eight years. The school stays small and stresses team spirit, with instructors described as highly professional and top-quality equipment.

It offers six-session starter courses, either on fixed days (one evening a week, in a group of about 13 students and 2 instructors) or on flexible dates, single lessons, master classes for progression, a windsurf and fitness club, and events for groups, schools and companies. All equipment, wetsuit included, comes with every course; participants must be 13 or older. Rental is restricted to experienced windsurfers: RRD rigs from 4.5 to 6.5 m² with a 140-litre freeride board.

The school opened a café on the pier in April 2025, where you can warm up after a session.
