About
Pura Vida Surf Shop is a surf and skate shop in Otter Rock on the Oregon coast. It carries surfboards, skateboards, bodyboards, skimboards and wetsuits, and takes special orders.
The workshop builds custom surfboards and repairs damaged boards with materials on site; repairs start at $25 and quotes are given in the shop. The shop also rents surfboards, bodyboards, wetsuits and accessories, with T. Patterson, Sharpeye and Robert's NW demo boards for experienced surfers.
Intro surf lessons for all ages are offered at Otter Rock, with board, leash and wetsuit included; in peak summer, two sessions run each day, at 10am and 1pm. Lessons must be booked by phone 24 to 48 hours ahead, and may be rescheduled if the surf is poor.
