REAL Watersports is a large watersports store and lesson center in Waves on Hatteras Island (Outer Banks, North Carolina), on the shore of Pamlico Sound. It sells and rents kiteboarding, foiling (wing foil, parawing, kite foil, e-foil) and surfing gear and wetsuits, and also ships online from Cape Hatteras.
The Lesson Center offers kiteboarding lessons (a 1.5-hour Kite 101 intro, a three-day Zero to Hero camp, private and semi-private lessons, board-skills coaching behind a jet ski, offsite coaching), foil lessons and camps (wing foil, parawing, kite foil, surf foil), eFoil lessons on the flat water of Pamlico Sound, and surf lessons and camps from age 6.
Brands in the shop include Ozone, Slingshot, Naish, F-One, Manera, Mystic, Ride Engine, Lift Foils, Armstrong, O'Neill and Rip Curl. The company also runs the Watermen's Retreat waterfront lodging and the Watermen's Bar & Grill.
