Kitty Hawk Kites Kiteboarding School

The Kitty Hawk Kites Kiteboarding School is the kiteboarding school of Kitty Hawk Kites, an Outer Banks outdoor adventure company. It is based at Waves Village in Rodanthe on Hatteras Island (North Carolina), on the warm, shallow waters of Pamlico Sound.

It offers private lessons for beginners (wind, gear, safety, board skills, then riding techniques) and private coaching for more experienced riders. From the same base it also teaches winging, foiling and e-surfing, and rents kiteboarding and foiling gear.

A USD 50 discount on the first lesson is advertised for a private lesson of three hours or more (offer shown on the website). Kitty Hawk Kites also lists a kiteboarding location in Nags Head.
