Ruuk Village Kite Resort

Ruuk Village is a small eco camp of about ten cabanas in Thoradiya, near Kalpitiya, in north-west Sri Lanka. It runs on solar power and focuses on calm, space and personal attention.

It runs a small kitesurf school that teaches beginners on the lagoon with certified instruction, plus island trips and kite safaris for independent riders. A Zero-to-Hero package and an airport pickup in a vintage VW van are also offered. The atmosphere is deliberately quiet, with no nightlife.
