École Kitesurf Wissant (Bed&Kite)

École Kitesurf Wissant (Bed&Kite) receives students on rue des Flobarts, on Wissant beach, a site classified as a Grand Site de France, with changing rooms, toilets and showers. It is run by Marc Hocquet, a rider for about ten years and a qualified instructor (also a first-aider), who also operates a guesthouse.

Kitesurf is taught pay-per-lesson or in a one-week course of 3 lessons, in groups of at most 4 to 5 students; about 3 lessons followed by guided sessions are needed to become independent. The school also offers wingfoil, paddle, Boomerang kite flying, longe-côte and discovery days on fixed dates, plus an annual pack (lessons, equipment and accommodation) on quote.

Equipment is checked every year with a follow-up log, there is no board leash during lessons and written intervention procedures are applied. Introductory lessons run from March to September, with performance lessons and guided sessions possible in winter on request.
