Atlantic Lézard Surf School

Atlantic Lézard Surf School is a surf school at Dunes 1 beach in Brétignolles-sur-Mer, in the Vendée. It is labelled by the French Surfing Federation and Handi Surf, and its website offers a 2026 registration form.

Surf and bodyboard lessons, in formats from discovery to course, are open to children from age 6 and to adults, from beginner to experienced surfer, in group or private lessons. Lessons adapted to people with disabilities are given by state-qualified instructors.

The school rents equipment all year (surfboards, bodyboards, stand up paddle, wetsuits), and offers gift cards and a Lezard Club clothing line.

July-August and school holidays: 9:30 am-7 pm, 7 days a week. March to November outside holidays: hours depend on the tides.
