Ombak Surfcoaching

Ombak Surfcoaching is a mobile surf school in Brétignolles-sur-Mer, in the Vendée: rather than staying on a single beach, it chooses the best spot each day according to the weather and the students' level. It is regularly associated with Dunes 1 beach and its website posts daily swell reports.

Lessons are open to all levels, in groups of six people at most. The offer includes group lessons, private lessons, sunset sessions and video coaching. Teaching is provided by Romain, a qualified surf instructor.

The school also rents boards and wetsuits, and says it offers accommodation near Dunes 1 beach subject to availability.
