Loulou École de Surf

Loulou is a surf and bodyboard school in La Palmyre, based at 2A avenue de Royan in Les Mathes, opposite the tourist office, with a hut alongside the MS Vacances campsite, near the Coubre lighthouse. The website publishes Côte Sauvage reports dated August 2026 and is built with the Shapers Club.

Lessons last 2.5 hours in total, including the trip to the spot, kitting-up time and the lesson, with flexible times to catch the best waves of the day. They suit beginners and advanced surfers, "big and little Loulous", with courses and sessions, including one at sunset. The school rents boards, foam for beginners, resin for advanced surfers. The website is available in Dutch, German and English.

The school is open Wednesday to Sunday outside school holidays and 7 days a week during holidays; outside July and August it is advisable to contact the school before coming. The contact person is Pierre Delpech.
