School Presentation
The Txingudi surf school is run in Hendaye by Yann Duhart, manager, founder and state-qualified instructor (the website also mentions the BPJEPS), assisted by instructors such as Patxiku and Flo. Lessons take place on Hendaye beach, and the school is open from April to early November, by reservation. The website carries a 2026 copyright notice.
The offer includes 2-hour group lessons (1.5 hours of practice, maximum 8 people, from age 7), a 3-hour shuttle formula with transport included from Saint-Jean-de-Luz, Ciboure and Socoa (from age 9), 1.5-hour private lessons from age 5, a "Surf ttiki" lesson for ages 6 to 8 (surf, bodyboard and bodysurf, maximum 6 children) and a year-round club formula, a 10-session card outside school holidays. The school also rents boards, wetsuits, bodyboards and booties, by the hour or the day.
A board and wetsuit are provided in every lesson, which suit complete beginners as well as those who want to improve.

Surf ttiki (ages 6 to 8): same prices as group lessons. Year-round club formula: 10-session card €280.
Equipment rental: board €10 (1 h), €12 (2 h), €15 (3 h), €18 (half day), €20 (day); wetsuit €5 (1 h) to €15 (day); bodyboard €6 (1 h) to €18 (day); booties €4 (1 h) to €12 (day).
