Biarritz Eco Surf School

Biarritz Eco Surf School is a surf school at Marbella beach in Biarritz, next to the Côte des Basques. It is run by Anthony Paillassar, who claims 25 years of teaching. Registration takes place at the school's tent or at the Biarritz Paradise Surfshop, 18 avenue Beaurivage.

The offer includes introductory, improvement and kids' lessons, discovery sessions, 3-day or 5-day courses, group, private and family lessons, surf & yoga, surf with languages and surf guide formulas. Groups have a maximum of eight students per instructor, from beginner to competitor level; the instructor stays in the water with the students. Lessons last 1h30 (1h for a private lesson).

Board, wetsuit and lycra are included in the price, with foam boards for group lessons; rental equipment is available at the surfshop. Lessons are organised around low tide: arrive 20 minutes early and allow about 10 minutes for changing.
