Biarritz Association Surf Clubs (BASC)

The BASCS (Biarritz Association Surf Clubs) is a surf association in Biarritz that says it has existed for over twenty-five years. Its board sports centre is at the Milady beach, described as quieter than its neighbours, with disabled access, changing rooms and toilets, parking, a shuttle and bikes.

Instructors are state-qualified and first-aid trained, and work all year with groups, school classes, children and adults, from beginners to competitors. Lessons can be given in English, Spanish or Basque. The offer includes lessons and courses (April to October), year-round club memberships, packs for groups and companies, and an online apparel shop.

The website publishes news from October 2025 and March 2026, including a patronage appeal to support the association.
