Dreamlandes Surfschool

Dreamlandes Surfschool is a small, human-scale surf school in Vieux-Boucau-les-Bains, in the Landes. It is run by Benoît Aumont, a state-qualified surf instructor (trained through the French Surfing Federation) who also holds the state ski and snowboard instructor qualification and claims around thirty years of experience in sports coaching.

The school offers 1.5-hour private lessons for 1 to 4 people and 1.5-hour group lessons for 4 to 8 people, scheduled according to the tide. Levels range from beginner to advanced, for all ages and families. In July and August, availability must be checked with the school.

The Surf Safari takes 1 to 4 people to quieter spots for one or two days (two sessions a day depending on conditions). The Surf and Yoga package combines, over a week, 1 to 5 days of surf lessons with yoga sessions led by a certified teacher, surf equipment included.

The school is a partner of the O'Neill brand. It is listed by the Landes tourist office with opening announced until 9 November 2026, and is located on the central beach access in Vieux-Boucau.

Season from April to November (2026 opening announced until 9 November). Group lessons are scheduled according to the tide.
