Vieux-Boucau Surf Club

The Vieux-Boucau Surf Club was founded in 1973 by a group of ocean enthusiasts. It is based on the dune of the Sablères beach in Vieux-Boucau-les-Bains.

It is an association; membership is through the federal licence, a member card or a training package. The club trains from February to December, with groups of all ages and levels, and offers surf lessons on the beach in summer, from introduction to improvement.

The club is labelled by the French Surfing Federation, and the website announces 2026 licences as available.
