Kitesurf Experience Colombia

Kitesurf Experience is an IKO centre in Salinas del Rey (Santa Verónica), on Colombia's Caribbean coast. It offers kitesurf lessons with a private instructor (from 2 to 12 hours, IKO certification, all-risk insurance), refresher courses, kite trips with downwinders, and kitesurf and wing foil equipment rental.

It also hosts kiters in Caribbean-style bungalows (private rooms or group rooms, kiters only) and sells lesson-plus-accommodation packages, as well as one-week stays with three spots and two downwinders. A live weather station is available on the website.

The wind is steady, 15 to 25 knots from the north-east for most of the season, which runs from December to May; flat water and waves suit freeride as well as strapless and wing foil.
