Kite Explorer Colombia is a kitesurf and wing foil school run by a French-speaking team in Santa Verónica and Salinas del Rey, on the Caribbean coast between Barranquilla and Cartagena. It is a One Launch Kiteboarding labelled school and its instructors are IKO certified.
The school offers beginner courses, twin-tip and strapless improvement camps, and wing foil sessions. Each day the spot is chosen according to the student's level and the weather, among several water spots suited to beginners, freestyle or waves. Recent Reedin equipment, insurance during lessons and transport to the spots are included.
Equipment rental is also available (full kitesurf or wing foil packs, harness, twin-tip, strapless, foil and wings, spare parts); Kite Explorer is the Reedin distributor in Colombia. A guesthouse, Casa Bachue, hosts kiters on site. The season runs from December to May.
