Surf Club at Long Beach Lodge Resort

The Surf Club at Long Beach Lodge Resort is a surf school and rental centre at Cox Bay in Tofino. Lessons are open to non-guests. Certified instructors run 2.5-hour private lessons adapted to each student's level and pace, with up to five people per instructor.

Rentals include a wetsuit, booties, a board and an optional helmet. The fleet includes beginner soft-tops (6' to 9'6") and locally made epoxy and fibreglass boards (5'8" to 9'6") for intermediate surfers. Participants get access to showers and changing rooms, and lesson students can use the club facilities (lockers, hot pool, cedar sauna).

From March to September, lessons run at 9 a.m., 12:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. daily, depending on conditions. From October to May, the club offers facility access by monthly membership or daily drop-in. It also rents e-bikes.
