Tofino Surf Adventures

Tofino Surf Adventures is a local surf school at 511 Campbell Street in Tofino. According to its About page, it has operated since 2013 and was started by surf instructors who wanted to improve on the standard lessons offered elsewhere. Its motto: we do our teaching in the water.

It offers group, family and private lessons, as well as surf guiding and adaptive lessons. A lesson lasts three hours and starts once the group reaches the beach, with roughly two to two and a half hours in the water. Groups have at most five students per instructor. Gear is provided and carried to the beach by the team.

The school also rents equipment (surfboards and wetsuits).
