Te Puia Surf Co.

Te Puia Surf Co. is a Surfing New Zealand approved surf school at Hot Water Beach on the Coromandel Peninsula. It offers surf lessons, hire and sales, with safety as its priority.

Lessons are private one-on-one or small group, on shortboard or longboard, to get you to your feet or catching your own unbroken green waves. Instructors explain wave types, rips and currents, stay in the water beside students, and supply learner-specific boards and warm wetsuits. Lessons run daily around low tide, leaving time to enjoy the beach's hot pools.
