Hahei Beach is a kitesurfing spot located on the Coromandel Peninsula, in the Waikato region, on the North Island of New Zealand. This beautiful white sand beach is famous for its proximity to Cathedral Cove and its turquoise waters. The spot faces east towards the Pacific Ocean. The most favorable winds come from the northeast and east. The spot is suited for intermediate kitesurfers. The beach can be busy in summer with tourists, so it is important to sail with caution. The natural setting is exceptional with spectacular rock formations.
