Pauanui Beach is a kitesurfing spot located on the Coromandel Peninsula, in the Waikato region, on the North Island of New Zealand. This ocean beach faces east toward the Pacific Ocean and offers more exposed wave and wind conditions than the nearby Pauanui estuary. The prevailing winds come from the northeast and east. The spot is suitable for intermediate to advanced kitesurfers due to exposure to ocean waves. The beach offers a wide launching area. It is a good spot for riders seeking wave conditions on the Coromandel Peninsula.
