École de Surf de la Réunion

Founded in 1998, the Ecole de Surf de La Réunion is accredited by the French Surfing Federation. It teaches surfing as well as stand-up paddle and kayaking, with state-qualified instructors.

Surfing takes place at the Trois-Bassins spot, for beginners and experienced surfers alike, with courses during school holidays. The school also works at the Akoatys park in L'Étang-Salé, for sessions on a standing wave, and in the La Saline-les-Bains lagoon for paddling, kayaking and snorkelling. Lessons or rental, there is an option for every age and level, plus rates for groups, works councils, schools and holiday centres.
