Aïko École de surf

Aïko is a surf school based in Saint-Leu, on the west coast of Reunion Island. It is run by Raphaël Rajerinera, a Reunion-born surfer with some thirty years of experience, who teaches the lessons himself.

The school aims to make surfing accessible to everyone while respecting the ocean. It welcomes beginners and experienced surfers alike, with courses for adults and for kids, in small groups and with personal follow-up.

For safety, a water patrol team checks the weather, sea state and underwater visibility every day, and the school's boards are fitted with a shark repellent. Gift vouchers are available and booking is done online.
