School Presentation
DM Kitesurfing School is an IKO-affiliated kitesurf school founded by IKO instructor Dmitrijus Matochinas and presented as the first IKO-affiliated kiteboarding centre in Denmark. It brings together wind lovers from Copenhagen and North Zealand and teaches at three spots: Sydvestpynten (Kalvebodvej 274, Dragør), a shallow spot between a small lagoon and open sea, Sylten (Søndre Strandvej 50, Dragør), near Kastrup airport, and Lynæs (Lynæs Havnevej 8a, Hundested), popular with beginners.
Courses are open from age 11: a 2-hour onshore discovery session with a trainer kite, a 7- or 10-hour beginner course, refreshers and progression lessons, private or for two (maximum weight difference 20 kg). Helmet, vest, harness and kite gear are provided, a wetsuit can be lent, and lessons follow IKO rules. The school is open from April to October and runs a winter camp in Zanzibar each year (mid-January to early February). The main meeting point is Sydvestpynten.
