Blyth Surf School

Blyth Surf School (formerly South Beach Surf School) is a surf school based at the Dave Stephens Centre on South Beach, Blyth, Northumberland. Brit and Phil took it over in February 2026; it is a community interest company (CIC) aiming to make surfing accessible to everyone.

It offers surf lessons for beginners and for those building confidence, an award-winning adaptive surf programme, a women's surf school in the works, paddleboarding, paddleboard and wetsuit hire, and surfskate lessons. The team also works on the North Tyneside beaches from its van.
