Northside Surf School was founded in 2006 in Amble, Northumberland, by John Nolan and presents itself as the county's original surf school. John has 25 years of international surfing and 17 years of teaching experience.
The school gives surf and stand up paddle lessons, in groups or one-to-one, on several beaches of the Northumberland coast (Bamburgh, Cresswell and Druridge Bay) and on the river at Warkworth. It also offers 3-day and 5-day courses, coasteering, corporate days and gift cards. Wetsuit, board and safety briefing are included in lessons.
