Surfschule Dahme

Surfschule Dahme is a wind sports school on the beach at Dahme on the Baltic Sea, at the Eurocamping Zedano. It is VDWS certified and QAW qualified, and teaches windsurfing, kitesurfing, wing surfing, stand up paddling, catamaran sailing and O'pen BIC sailing.

In summer the school runs two stations: Düne and Northpoint. Taster sessions last 2 hours: windsurfing on Mondays and Thursdays at 10 am (Düne station), kitesurfing on Saturdays at 10 am, wing surfing on Sundays at 11 am and stand up paddling on Saturdays at 3 pm (Northpoint station). The kite taster takes place on the beach at Dahme and water contact depends on the wind.

For kitesurfing, lesson spots are chosen according to wind direction, which can mean up to 40 minutes of travel (car sharing or meeting on site). Minimum weight 45 kg and minimum age 14; private lessons are available for younger or lighter students. Groups are limited to four people, and only water sessions actually completed are charged if the weather interferes. Kite courses are often fully booked from June to September.

The school also rents equipment, sells gift vouchers and offers beach sleeping baskets; you can drop by for a coffee, a drink or a snack.
