Wassersportcenter Heiligenhafen

Wassersportcenter Heiligenhafen is a water sports centre on the Binnensee, a sheltered inland lake with standing-depth water and a steady breeze, at Heiligenhafen on the Baltic Sea. It describes itself as active for more than fifty years and teaches with VDWS trainers.

It trains in sailing (Optimist for children from age 7, dinghies, catamaran), windsurfing (children, juniors, adults, with the VDWS licence), wing surfing and wing foiling (beginner courses from age 10, private or for two) and stand up paddling. For kitesurfing, the school works with a partner school, Boardflash, at Lemkenhafen on Fehmarn. The centre also rents equipment (boats, boards, SUPs, wings), hosts school trips, groups and company events, and offers accommodation and activities.

On site: SUP, wing and windsurf launch areas with ramps, a board and rig house at the water's edge, classrooms, changing rooms, free lockers, a beach volleyball court and free parking for course participants.
